Tennis – Pigeon

When American husband and wife duo Patrick Riley and Alaina Moore bought a sailboat and decided to sail the world, they had no idea that the musical side project inspired by the trip would attract as much attention as it has. Turns out there’s much more of a market for lo-fi pop than either of them had anticipated. When they returned from their trip they posted a few songs online, to which they received an immediate response and hype, which has only increased leading up to their album drop this month. Despite all the hype, they’re not taking it too seriously, as it started as a hobby and they’re trying to keep it that way. Patrick says “That would take too much time away from our desire to travel and see the world. We’re intent on keeping it part of our kind of transient lifestyle.”

I’m sure a lot of people are going to disagree with that plan, but we’ll see what happens. Bring on the album!
