ROSTAM – Wood

Vampire Weekend’s Rostam Batmanglij is at it again, offering us a few fabulous tracks from his newest side side project ROSTAM which can be found via his Tumblr page. His new jam, entitled “Dont Let It Get To You,” was released yesterday and it was this song that led me back to his original release from last month, “Wood,” which I somehow missed the first time around. I am in love with its beautiful string arrangements and obvious Eastern influence. For anyone who is into Vampire Weekend and Rostam’s other electropop side project Discovery, this gorgeous six-minute jam should pique your interest.

Grab the track below and be sure to check out more at Batmanglij’s Tumblr and Twitter pages to keep yourself updated on this guy. At this point he’s churning out a tune every month so I can’t wait to see what’s next!
