Robin Pecknold – Where Is My Wild Rose

Covering a wonderful song from Chris Thompson’s 1974 self titled LP is the talented Robin Pecknold, more widely known as the frontman for Seattle-based indie group the Fleet Foxes. This cover is a track off of a recently leaked solo EP simply named Three Songs, which also contains a duet with Grizzly Bears’ Ed Droste and a sweet solo jam that he penned himself. His voice soars in these lovely and mellow acoustics, which have been made available on his Twitter page.

Since his two shows at the Vogue in Vancouver sold out instantaneously, I will have to get my fix through this EP and the Fleet Fox’s forthcoming album Helplessness Blues, set to come out in may.
