Givers are a great new group from Lafayette, Louisiana, which is the only place in Louisiana I have ever been and it is a fun, fun city. You can smoke in the bars down there. And the drinks are really strong… It’s great! I suppose that’s all of the South though, not just Lafayette, but anyways. They have had a pretty stupendous year and are currently on a big North American tour. They play Monday Sept. 5 at the Media Club, in fact!
